I think we can all agree that 2020 has not been the best of years and the pandemic has changed a lot of our plans, however with the recent news on the vaccinations, it looks like we could be looking at a brighter 2021.
As a marketing agency, we are always keen to celebrate and promote key dates throughout the year and whilst this may have been a bit harder this year, we are certainly looking forward to a lot more celebrating in 2021, and we think a lot of you will agree!
For that reason, we have put together a marketing calendar for 2021 so you can make sure you are not missing any key dates.
Let’s start with January, time for a new start, you have had your Christmas break, agreed your new year resolutions and you are ready to see what the year brings.
1st January – New Year’s Day
1st – 31st January – Dry January or… Ginuary! (We know which one we would go for!)
11th January – National Clean Off Your Desk Day
25th January – Opposite’s Day
February, the month of love, but that isn’t all that happens in February!
4th February – World Cancer Day
5th February – World Nutella Day (A particular favourite)
14th February – Valentine’s Day (and our very own Andy’s Birthday!)
17th February – Random Acts of Kindness Day
18th February – Drink Wine Day 🍷
20th February – Love Your Pet Day (Insert a harmony of ‘awww’s’)
By March you should be over the holiday winter slump, and it’s time for spring!

15th March – Napping Day (We may have to look into this!)

26th March – Purple Day for Epilepsy Awareness 💜
April – I wonder what our April Fool’s joke will be next year, this year we tried to get the whole team to join a Zoom call wearing a hat, but unfortunately, Richard did figure it out!

June, we are halfway through the year, it’s time for heatwaves, pride rainbow flags and summer getaways!

5th June – World Environment Day
15th June – National Beer Day
20th June – Father’s Day
21st June – First Day of Summer (Time to get those holidays booked!)

July, we are now halfway through summer, the kids are still off school, and we’re all trying to squeeze in that last-minute holiday!
7th July – World Chocolate Day (We shall be celebrating this day!)

23rd July – Summer Olympics begin
30th July – International Friendship Day
It’s the last month before the kids go back to school, and you are all counting down until the bank holiday so you can have a nice long weekend, let’s see what else is going on in August!

The kids are back to school, summer holidays are over, and soon the sun will be disappearing. But it is only 4 months until Christmas!

16th September – 100 Days Till Christmas (Time to start the countdown!)
The spookiest time of the year, there’s quite a lot happening in October, let’s take a look. PS. did we mention, it’s now only 3 months until Christmas!

November is quite an exciting month, it’s the month before Christmas, there are Black Friday sales, and people spend the WHOLE month without shaving their moustache!

26th November – Black Friday (Time to get those pressies!)

Winter has begun by December, and although we don’t have many dates to share with you, the month does, of course, have Christmas, which is a date you need to celebrate.

24th December – Christmas Eve
25th December – Christmas Day 🎄🎅
26th December – Boxing Day
31st December – New Year’s Eve
That brings us to the end, I really do hope the above dates give you some inspiration when planning your marketing for 2021. Even though this year has been super tough, it’s important to remember the good times, no matter how big or small, keep hold of them and it will make you feel much better.
